Product Overview

The Gracey 9/10 curette is a double-ended, site-specific instrument engineered for subgingival scaling and root planing. Its blade is offset at approximately 70° to the terminal shank, so only the lower cutting edge is used — this gives correct blade-to-root angulation with minimal soft-tissue trauma and superior tactile feedback compared with universal curettes.

Clinical Application

The Gracey 9/10 is indicated for posterior teeth — buccal and lingual surfaces, including deeper and harder-to-reach sites. The 9/10 shares the 7/8 working area but with a shank angulation that improves access to deeper pockets and the facial and lingual surfaces of second and third molars.
